Happy Holidays from the UME Marylanders Online Team!

As we celebrate this joyful season, Marylanders Online extends warm wishes to the many partners and community members we’ve had the privilege to serve this year. In 2024, we took great pride in witnessing and actively participating in numerous initiatives aimed at bridging the digital divide and enhancing digital literacy throughout the state. These efforts not only reflect Maryland’s commitment to inclusivity but also highlight the collaborative spirit of our communities working together to create a more equitable digital landscape.

In 2024, Marylanders Online:

  • Empowered communities by providing free tech support and resources, helping individuals obtain affordable internet options and digital devices.
  • Promoted digital inclusion by developing and adapting programs that make digital opportunities inclusive and accessible to everyone.
  • Expanded partnerships to meet the unique needs of our communities and reach new populations, from the blind and hard of hearing to youth, older adults, and formerly incarcerated individuals.

As we approach 2025, our commitment to supporting our communities and partners remains steadfast. Through collaboration and innovation, we can transform Maryland’s vision for digital inclusion into a reality, setting a benchmark for other states to follow.

From all of us at Marylanders Online, we wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with peace, happiness, and good cheer! Here's to a bright new year ahead!

Warm regards,

The Marylanders Online Team
