Dear Pets In Need Family,

Despite the continuing effects of COVID, 2021 has been a successful year. Our

new Advanced Care Center provided 600 life-changing procedures for pets

whose owners couldn't otherwise have afforded them --including 233 general surgeries; 148 spay/neuter surgeries and 225 dentals with countless extractions.

Pets In Need continues to be the only resource for subsidized, comprehensive, veterinary care for low-income pet families in the Greater Cincinnati/Tristate area. As the end of this year approaches, we're more thankful than ever for the continued generosity and support from our donors, grantors, and volunteers and for the unwavering dedication of our staff. We couldn't do this without all of you.

Grey Muzzle Organization Supports Senior Dogs

Thanks to a grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization, we were able to provide much-needed dental care for 14-year old Ace. In addition to scaling and polishing, Dr. Goforth had to extract 10 teeth. Ace is now pain-free and able to eat comfortably

Unique Calendar Benefits PIN

The pet project of Kate Crawford & photographer Eric Vice , the 2022 Dogs of Findlay calendar, features beautiful photos and stories of the dogs owned by

some of the vendors at Findlay Market.

Calendars are $25 and are available while supplies last at Pet Wants; Eckerlin Meats; Madison's; wolfpack; Maverick Chocolate Co.; The Budding Florist; and

the Butlers Pantry Market and Cafe. All profits are being donated to PIN.

Meet Our New Board Member

We are pleased to announce that Tina Koczeniak

has joined the Pets In Need Board of Directors.

A lifelong animal lover, Tina has a long history of service to animal welfare organizations, including OAR, Animal Friends Humane Society, SPCA Cincinnati, HART, SCOOP, and Purrfect Friends. In 2014 she co-founded SNiP, Inc., a nonprofit cat rescue and TNR organization, and serves as its Marketing Director and manager of the barn cat program.

Tina is employed by Fifth Third Bank as an Officer and Senior Specialist in the Commercial Treasury Division. She lives in Fairfield, Ohio with her 16 beloved indoor cats and 4 feral cats.
