Saturday, December 9th. The festivities begin at at 3:00 pm. This event will be followed by "Cocoa with a Cop," and the annual Tree Lighting at the Train Depot.

The Dayton Craft Fair is the Perfect Place to Find Gifts for the Holidays
Looking for some unique, creative gifts for Christmas? The town of Dayton will be hosting their annual Holiday Craft Fair on December 12th from 10 am to 3 pm at the Mark Twain Community Center. The center is located at 500 Sam Clemens Avenue in Dayton. The fair features FREE ADMISSION, Christmas shopping, local vendors, games for the kiddos, food, water, coffee will be available, and a raffle at the top of each hour.

Fallon's Maine Street will be Lit Up Once Again
The city of Fallon features their annual Christmas Tree Lighting on
December 1, and Maine Street will once again be aglow. This Christmas tradition is a joyous event in Fallon when the community turns out for carolers, cookies and hot chocolate, the first glimpse of Santa and to watch the Christmas tree light up downtown Maine Street.

Feel the True Spirit of the Season at Austin's Live Nativity
Austin's Live Nativity remains a seasonal favorite each and every year. The festivities take place on Tuesday, December 12, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Always a popular community event, it features local volunteer actors, live animals, and beautiful singing. Afterward, attendees can enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and a turkey giveaway raffle. Make sure to attend this very special event and get in the holiday spirit!

Eureka Holiday Bazaar and Christmas Tree Lighting Rings in the Holiday
Get in the holiday spirit at Eureka's Holiday Bazaar on

Eureka Opera House, 31 S Main Street. The event will be followed up by a Christmas Tree Lighting on December 2. The town of Eureka is always well-decorated over the holidays, and this year is no different! Take a road trip to "The Friendliest Town on the Loneliest Road" as they ring in the holiday season.

A holiday favorite comes to life in Ely!
Experience the magic of Chris Van Allsburg's classic children's book "The Polar Express," as it comes to life on the rails of the Nevada Northern Railway. The journey takes you from Ely, Nevada on a special trip right to the North Pole. Santa's Elves are honored that Nevada Northern Railway's Polar Express train has been voted as the "Best Special Event in Rural Nevada" by readers of Nevada Magazine.
Each passenger to the North Pole are served hot chocolate and cookies while listening to the beloved story of the Polar Express and music from the Polar Express soundtrack.
