Your support allows RWF to accomplish our 3 primary goals:
- To provide humanitarian aid to communities in need around the world
- To create awareness within the LGBTQ community of the need for these relief efforts
- To change perceptions of the LGBTQ community by putting our highest beliefs and values into action by demonstrating our compassion and caring for the world
Please consider joining us on a humanitarian trip to Cuba or Guatemala in 2020.

BE AN AMBASSADOR FOR LGBTQ COMPASSION
|
|
Since 2000, RWF has been a lifeline to our LGBTQ and non-LGBTQ brothers and sisters around the world.
Here are a few examples of our recent work:
- In Central American, RWF is funding the infrastructure of an underground railroad that helps transgender woman from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala reach safety, build community, and establish new lives.
- In Cuba, RWF provides vital aid to support the LGBTQ community’s struggle for civil rights. RWF also funds summer camps for children who are HIV-positive and for children with cancer.
- In the Middle East, RWF provides assistance to LGBTQ refuges escaping immanent threat in Iraq and Syria. Dozens of the refugees that RWF has helped now live in Canada, Europe and the USA.
- At the USA-Mexico border, RWF is helping the littlest asylum-seeking immigrants — the children on both sides of the border by delivering humanitarian supplies and grants.
- In Uganda, RWF is funding the building of a permanent shelter in Kampala to provided safe housing and emergency medical care to LGBTQ people fleeing persecution.
- In the USA and around the world, RWF continues to provide emergency aid following fires, earthquakes and other natural disasters.
- RWF helps orphans and displaced children in many countries by funding educations, housing and medical care.
