As you prepare to leave campus for winter break, insurance and claims manager Cally Jennett shares the following reminders to avoid property damage or loss:
Unplug electronic devices, space heaters, etc.
Lock doors and shut windows
Take home or secure valuables
Close fire doors
Leave the heat on to prevent pipe bursts
When entering and exiting buildings, make sure exterior doors are securely shut
Report damage or loss of personal or university property through the ISU incident portal.
