Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

SPOTLIGHT: A SHINING STAR

PROVIDING A LOVING HOME

Bernadette is no stranger to client care and has worked for Special Kids Special Families as a Host Home Provider for many years. She continues to be one of our top providers and is responsible, responsive, and compliant in every measure. Recently during the Thanksgiving holiday her entire household contracted Covid-19 and she continued to complete client care tasks, documentation, and medication administration without missing even the smallest detail and remained in communication with supervisory staff during the duration of the illness. Bernadette is an example of an excellent provider who not only meets the basic needs of the individual she cares for, but goes that extra mile to create a loving, respectful and enriching home environment. She is a shining star and we are so fortunate to have her as a Host Home Provider!
