Big News... coming in January  Somewhere around mid-January (we will make sure to specify the precise date when it’s confirmed), TMA BlueTech will be releasing the results of its much-awaited San Diego BlueTech Economy Report. This report was headed by Tracy Rouleau, President of TBD Economics. Tracy is the former Deputy Chief Economist at NOAA and current Senior Fellow, Editorial Board Member at the Journal for Ocean and Coastal Economics. This report will provide fascinating details on the current and potential growth of the BlueTech economy for the City of San Diego, San Diego County, and the State of California. And let us tell you now, the future is looking bright! To give you a hint, one of the most significant parts of this report focuses on the multiplier effect of the Blue Economy compared with other economic sectors in San Diego, and California as a whole. The multiplier effect is simple: For every $1 spent in a particular sector, how much extra does it generate in economic activity.  When the report is published, you will see exactly how the BlueTech multiplier compares to other sectors.
