WPPS and James Twyman honors Hiroshima Peace Day -
Hiroshima Peace Park, Japan
WPPS hosted a live webcast on August 6th with James Twyman in Hiroshima Peace Park in commemoration of the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. Thousands of supporters endorsed the program by signing up on the World Peace Pulse map to join the synchronized global meditation
at the exact time the bomb was dropped 71 years ago.
A World Peace Flag Ceremony followed the synchronized meditation with many park goers who stepped up to carry the flags of each nation.

WPPS at the World Peace Forum
Florinopolis, Brazil
A Peace Pole was presented to the Mayor of Florinopolis who hosted the 10th World Peace Forum in Brazil.
A beautiful ceremony took place at city hall where hundreds witnessed the Mayor accepting the Peace Pole on behalf of the City.
The winners of the 2016 Peace Pals Arts Awards was also announced during the Forum by representatives of the World Peace Youth program followed by a live webinar highlighting peace activities of youth around the world.
A Peace Pals Art Exhibition was hosted in the lobby of the United Nations Headquarters in New York between October 17th thought the 29th. The exhibition was made possible through the kind sponsorship of the Japan Mission highlighting the theme, Love to Hiroshima - Love to Nagasaki.
The Exhibition auspiciously coincided with the meetings of
the first committee on disarmament held at the UN and the
2016 Week of Spirituality. Read More
Girl Scouts present Flag Ceremony
Galleria Mall, Poughkeepsie, NY
"Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson" came together at the Galleria Mall Center Court in Poughkeepsie, NY to celebrate the 90th anniversary of "World Thinking Day" with a World Peace Flag Ceremony. The scouts attracted a large audience who joined in the Flag Ceremony to send affirmations for peace to prevail in each country of the world. Read More
Prayers for USA webinar
Starting July through election weekend in November, WPPS hosted monthly Prayers for USA webinars to call forth and generate positive energies in preparation for the elections.
The webinar started with prayers of gratitude to the native ancestors of the land followed by prayers for each of the 50 US states.
The October webinar was hosted at the World Peace Sanctuary in New York followed by a community potluck. Read More
