Our Big Book Sale

Fill a bag for $5!

You read that right! We're dropping the price on all book sale items to one easy fee from December 8-22 (or until supplies run out).

Simply bring a standard-sized grocery bag or use one of our WBRL bags, fill it full of gently used books, movies, and video games, and pay $5!

That's it! One easy fee per bag, no matter how much you can fit in it. It's the perfect time to stock up on materials that may have been donated or weeded from our collection.

Words in Motion

Submit your original poetry for a chance to win

Words In Motion is a literacy program that promotes an appreciation for the art of poetry. It is open to everyone living in the Wood Buffalo region. Whether you are a student, a professional writer, or a novice wordsmith, you are encouraged to participate and submit your original poetry.

An external panel of judges will select the poems to be published in the 2024 Words in Motion Poetry Booklet. Authors of the selected poems will be invited to participate in a celebration event. Poems must be submitted by February 16.

Visit our website for the full guidelines and to submit your work.
