This year's donations will be accepted until December 15th. Here's what's on our list this year:
NEEDED: Cash (used for postage only), Hand warmers (Like the kind you get at hardware/hunting stores. These are VERY popular with the troops).
FOOD: salami and cheese sets that don't need refrigeration, beef jerky, individual packs of instant soup or coffee
TOILETRIES & SUPPLIES: batteries, Cottonelle hand wipes, men's black socks, razors, hotel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash or soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste
It's Operation Wise Man time again!

Cranberry Corners will be collecting items to send to troops through this Sunday, Dec. 15.

Each year since the Gulf War began, Kranberry and krew collect items for care packages mailed to troops stationed overseas.
Dahlonega Women’s Club Christmas Market Extension

Money earned from booth fees, plus Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, gift baskets, and any crafts made by DWC members, all goes into grants and gifts to the community. In the past, club donations helped buy books and children’s computers for the library; support art, drama and the band at the high school; and to various local charities.

This is a ticketed event, and the cost is $12 per person and can be purchased at the Dahlonega Visitors Center, or at any of the 6 participating B&B Inns.
