The Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence (SMBE) Award - December 20th is the Final Day for nominations. The Application Profile and Overview should be submitted by the Nominated company by Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Eligibility: All manufacturers with production facilities in Florida or Georgia, not having won the SMBE Gold Level award in 2023 or 2024, are eligible to participate. It is not necessary for the nominee to be a member of any association.

OSHA TIPS: OSHA attorneys at Ogletree Deakins in Tampa has shared important OSHA TIPS on how employers should handle a workplace safety inspection from OSHA.

This presentation provides an update on the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit and required capitalization. It covers the basics of the R&D Tax Credit, including what qualifies as research and development activities, the benefits of the credit, and the eligibility criteria. Friday, February 14th at 10:00 AM.

The MTC Innovation Program includes paid internships within our Business Enterprise warehouse plus providing scholarships for training certifications currently being offered at the MTC via the eMerge Program. Phase one of this program is focusing on the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Our interns will work in our MTC Business Enterprise warehouse and take training classes to promote ongoing skills training in a variety of areas.
