Happy Holidays from the FAFP!

We thank you for all that you do for your communities and patients throughout Florida - we are proud to work for such amazing physicians! The FAFP office will close Friday, December 22, and reopen Tuesday, January 2, but staff will attempt to resolve any member emergencies emailed or phoned in during this time. We hope you have an enjoyable holiday and a very Happy New Year!

2023 FAFP Winter Summit Attendees

Thank you to all 800+ attendees of the 2023 FAFP Hybrid Family Medicine Winter Summit, hosted from December 8-10 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island! Whether you participated in-person or virtually, we hope that the learning experience was as enjoyable and worthwhile for you as it was for the FAFP leadership and staff.

More than 575 attendees have completed their evaluation and claimed CME credits - these credits were submitted to the AAFP and CEBroker on December 12, 2023. Please do not report your credits to AAFP/CEBroker as this delays the process of proper reporting to the state. Though credits have been submitted, please allow 7 business days for them to properly be reported in both your AAFP and CEBroker accounts.

As a reminder, please claim your CME credits by completing and submitting your evaluation no later than December 29, 2023. If you would like your CME credits reported to AAFP and CE Broker before the end of 2023, make sure you submit your evaluation and credit claim no later than Friday, December 22, 2023.

FAFP December Member Spotlight - Dr. Bradford Bindas

"I currently serve as chief resident for my family medicine residency in Clearwater, Florida. Sometimes this feels like working two full-time jobs, and creating a balance between personal and work life can be challenging as a physician. Having strong core values of family, exercise, and hard work is what gives me the balance to continue working. At some point, all physicians and residents deal with burnout and I utilize my values to not only combat burnout, but also make me a better physician."
