As we take time to rejuvenate from and reflect on this past year, we wish you peace, joy, happiness and health in the new year. Our team will be back in 2022, ready to help Arkansas growers and our local food system stay safe, informed, and resilient. We appreciate all that you do for Arkansas and beyond!

As a reminder, Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will be closed for the holidays from Friday, December 24th thru Sunday, January 2nd, reopening Monday, January 3rd.

Pilot Cleaning and Sanitizing
Produce Safety Workshop
Interested in learning more about cleaning and sanitizing on your farm? Then be sure to register for this FREE workshop in January!
Six modules will be delivered as 2-hour sessions each Tuesday and Thursday from January 11 to 27, 2022. Some short, recorded sessions will also be provided for participants to view in advance of these modules.

Target Audience for this Pilot Workshop: Personnel who lead or perform cleaning and sanitization activities (including monitoring and verification) on farms covered by the Produce Safety Rule.

Registration: Participation in this pilot is free for those in the qualifying target audience who commit to attend all 6 sessions, to complete viewing of all recorded sessions on time, AND to provide comprehensive and constructive course feedback. No prerequisite requirements for attending; however, registration will be limited to registrants that meet the Target Audience description. Attendance will be capped at 35 participants.
