As we close out our 75th year, the Lafayette Chamber is stronger than ever. We survived the pandemic, learned, and created opportunities to redefine ourselves. Our staff found ways to better connect, support and grow our membership base. In 2022 we welcomed 111 new members!

We hired two new employees’ mid-summer who hit the ground running. We welcomed Ginny W. Quell as the Chamber’s new office administrator and AJ Glassman who is now serving as the Chamber’s Member Engagement Coordinator.
In 2022, we hosted numerous ribbon cuttings welcoming downtown businesses including Woehrle Real Estate and Development, Lilikoi Boba, Sculptology, Brook Street Park, Las Trampas, The Parlor Boutique Salon, Sanctuary – a healing center, Create & Flow Creative Studio, Mighty Pilates, The Peter Pan Foundation, Kimberley Harrison Interiors, and Five Little Monkeys.

It has been an extremely busy and exciting year; it’s also been a very fruitful year. We are thrilled to share that through our community events we were able to give back over $68,800 to our community beneficiaries which included LPIE, Acalanes HS, Burton Valley PTA, Campolindo HS, Happy Valley PTO, Acalanes Cheer, Acalanes Class Parents 2024, 2025 and 2026, Artemis Rowing, Campolindo Water Polo Boys and Girls, Campolindo Cheer and Diablo View Rotary, Lafayette Police 501c3 and Sheriff’s Volunteers, Community Foundation of Lafayette, Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation, Park Theater Trust, Town Hall Theatre, Generations in Jazz, The Peter Pan Foundation, Contra Costa Food Bank, White Pony Express, Cancer Support Community, Las Trampas, Lafayette School PTA, Miramonte HS, Springhill Parents Club, and Stanley PTA.

Jay, our Executive Director of 17 years, retired and we continue to wish him the best. Sara Regan stepped into the role of Executive Director of the Lafayette Chamber on November 1st. Sara, Holly, Linda, Ginny, and AJ are here for you! We will continue to promote a vibrant local economy, offer development strategies, advocate for our members, host events and engage the greater Lafayette Community. Happy Holidays to all!
