Blanket Donation
Marisa Medgyesi starting collecting blankets for the less fortunate this year. We
mentioned it in a few emails and we were able to collect six at the party to help the cause. What a great idea and we were happy to be a part of such a great gesture of giving.
The MEDC Holiday party felt a little early this year. We tried to work around other events, but there is always something that we may have to compete with. We still had a nice and steady crowd. John & Irene from Poor Boy's brought out a variety of different appetizers throughout the evening. It was nice to be able to thank our supporters and we sincerely appreciate everyone! Thanks so much and have a great Holiday.

Village annual Tree Lighting event
The Village and the Chamber of Commerce host an annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of Village Hall every year on the first Sunday of December. The event features Santa Claus, musical performances, a parade and free refreshments. In addition to the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Village Hall is filled with decorated trees provided by the local businesses and organizations in the community. They will be available to see throughout December. Be sure to stop by and vote for your favorite.
Santa Claus arrived on the fire truck and was available for photos. It was a great way to bring in the holiday season.

If you did not get the opportunity to see the Ozinga Merry Mixer at the parade and the light show, be sure to check out this u tube video:
A huge crowd arrived at Montgomery Village hall to welcome Santa and enjoy the festivities.
