HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS AROUND YOU
Happy holidays, Redwood City neighbors. We wish you a very happy season, however you celebrate. This eNewsletter will be our last of 2021 and we will be back in the new year with more great news, programs and library happenings.

Our libraries will be open with the exception of Thursday through Saturday, December 23-25 and December 30-January 1. If you haven't stopped by our locations to sign up for the Winter Reading Club, be sure to do so. When joining the Club, kids get a free book and then read or listen to 5 books through January 9 and write a one-word review for each title. Finishers Ages 12 and under receive a goody bag and teens receive a second free book.

If you are looking for more winter break activities, stop my our Downtown Library to visit our multicultural holidays display in the Family Place. Our displays feature information sheets, activities, recipes and books that highlight many special winter traditions of worldwide cultures. We also have a children's book reading list, which you can see here.

We look forward to serving you in 2022. We are excited for the launch of the Makerspace and to create, craft and collaborate with you. Our programs and storytimes will be returning in person as soon as we are safely able to do so. Check our events calendar for the most up-to-date event information.

Happy holidays from your RCPL team
