Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Last week, members of the Jewish community across the city gathered to light the eight candles for the eight night long holiday celebrating
Hanukkah, we hoped you spent the festival of lights with family and loved ones. I sent our Jewish friends an email to personally thank them for the positive efforts their community have made toward self-improvement and the improvement of their community here and around the world.
As we enter this weekend, I want to wish you and your family a very happy
Christmas, and
Kwanzaa both beginning this weekend, I hope you will be spending time with family and friends, enjoying the generous spirit of these holidays.
As we look forward to the coming year, I want to thank you for all of your continued support as we work to build a stronger, more welcoming community and a more resilient city for all who choose to live here. I continue to draw strength from the love and diversity emanating from our communities uptown.

La semana pasada, los miembros de la comunidad Judía de la ciudad se reunieron para encender las ocho velas para las ocho noches de celebración de Hanukkah, esperamos que hayan pasado el Festival de Luces con sus familia y seres queridos. Envié un correo electrónico a nuestras admistades Judías para agradecerles personalmente los esfuerzos positivos que su comunidad ha realizado para mejorarse y mejorar su comunidad aquí y en todo el mundo.
Al entrar este fin de semana, deseo desearles a ustedes y a su familia unas felices Navidades, y Kwanzaa ambos empienzan este fin de semana, espero que pasen tiempo con sus familiares y amigos, disfrutando del espíritu generoso de estas vacaciones.
Mientras esperamos el próximo año, quiero darle las gracias por todo su apoyo continuo mientras trabajamos para construir una comunidad más fuerte, más acogedora y una ciudad más resistente para todos los que decidan vivir aquí.
