Your Dana Point Boaters Association wishes all of you a safe and happy holiday. Enjoy your time with family and friends indulging in a decadent meal, imbibing in some holiday spirits, but most importantly, making lasting memories.
To paraphrase Dr. Seuss, "Christmas, (Hannukah, and Kwanzaa) will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand."
Dana Point Boaters, we stand united. Advocacy will continue in 2022. We will provide updates after the holidays.
Thanks to all of you who participated in the holiday boat parade. I heard it was much smaller but lovely as always.
The winner of the 2021 DPBA "Spirit Award" is Sailing Vessel Riptide Pugsley, Boat Entry #126. One boater commented, "You know what they say about Integrity, It's what you do when nobody is looking…this boat showed holiday spirit and was having a lot of fun even when they were on the far side of the main channel (not just for the judges and the areas with crowds). Congratulations, Riptide Pugsley!
The owner of Riptide Pugsley should contact DPBA at 949-485-5656 or [email protected] to make arrangements to present your award ("Most Spirit" Plaque and $250.00.)
From Dana Point Boaters Association, many blessings to you and your families!
