This cheerful oil, Yellow on Yellow on Yellow, whose title refers obliquely to Kazimir Malevitch's painting in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, White on White on White, is also an homage to the many opulent bouquets of Vincent Van Gogh.

Playing cards, "Bye, Bye, Blues"

This oil painting, Bye Bye Blues, takes its title from a cheerful jazz standard created by Fred Hamm, Dave Bennett, Bert Lown and Chauncey Gray in 1925, and since recorded by many, many musicians. The artist has used some of her favorite colors for the background.

Jane's Carousel, the 48-horse merry-go-round in Brooklyn Bridge Park is a treasure of New York City. It was rescued at auction from its original 1922 incarnation at Idora Park in Youngstown, Ohio. The vintage carousel was lovingly restored largely through the efforts of David and Jane Walentas, and since 2011 a treat for young and old alike.
