Your dedication to the individuals and families in your region is evident, and we deeply appreciate the commitment of your staff, partners, and volunteers in helping make Virginia a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
2024 has been a transformative year! This year, we saw the launch of several new initiatives, including the continued success of the RISE IDA Pilot, the expansion of the Diaper Distribution Pilot, and ongoing efforts to improve broadband access throughout the state. In 2024, OEO launched a data capacity toolkit, new organizational standards information, a CSBG monitoring toolkit and a new podcast!
We've also been inspired by the many client success stories shared with us in 2024. A huge thank you to everyone who sent in updates and stories throughout the year! These inspiring tales have been featured on LearnWorlds, and we’ve also shared them in special collateral materials at training conferences and events.
Throughout 2024, the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) also hosted 36 workshops and training sessions across the Commonwealth. Topics included

Standards, and more. We successfully engaged 244 individuals, which is fantastic!
