CHRISTMAS CACTUS CARE
A very popular houseplant, and for good reason! When they bloom, they produce colorful, tubular flowers in a wide selection of colors. Beautiful flowers, long bloom time, and easy care requirements make them a wonderful plant. Maximize your holiday blooms with a few helpful tips:
Maintain an optimal climate of 65 degrees.
Keep the soil evenly moist while your plant is blooming, misting frequently is encouraged.
Use a quality soil rich in humus and other nutrients.
Place the cactus in an east-facing window for moderate light and some direct sun.
Apply a high concentrated plant food that promotes blooming. We recommend Fertilome Blooming and Rooting (9-58-8) every two weeks once buds form.
Repot your cactus each year after flowering.
