2 RA positions in Econ Department

Professors Bilge Erten and Shuo Zhang are seeking two undergraduate research assistants (RAs) to contribute to their research projects over the summer. These positions are ideal for students interested in pursuing predoctoral research roles after graduation.

During the spring semester, the RAs will focus on becoming familiar with the research projects and building relevant skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record (high GPA), a strong interest in labor, health, and gender economics, and be a current sophomore or junior at Northeastern University. Students majoring in data science or computer science combined programs are encouraged to apply. Prior coursework in econometrics and experience with software such as Stata, R, or Python are highly desirable.

If interested, email Professors Erten (b.erten@northeastern.edu) and Professor Zhang (s.zhang@northeastern.edu) with your CV and a brief statement explaining your fit for the role.

Professors Erten and Zhang have an excellent track record of mentoring undergraduate RAs who have gone on to predoctoral research positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Chicago, Princeton University, and Columbia University.
