Our Open House is Sunday, October 15, 2023 and we would like to make O'Hara as welcoming as possible for prospective students and their families. We are asking for donations of mums that can be placed around school. Please review the available slots and click on the button below to sign up. Open House

All are welcome to attend Cardinal O'Hara's Fall Open House. This is the perfect opportunity for both you and your student to check out all that O’Hara has to offer! Take a guided tour of our school building, meet and mingle with faculty, staff, and amazing students in some of our different classroom spaces, and learn all about our academics, activities, athletics and more!

Academic Scholarship Test Dates -

All 8^th grade PUBLIC / PRIVATE / CHARTER / OTHER students are invited to take our 8^th Grade Academic Scholarship Test (HSPT), to be held at Cardinal O’Hara, on the date below. This is an optional test to determine if your child may be eligible for academically based scholarships.

***Please note that students currently attending an Archdiocesan or IMS grade school will be taking this test at their individual school and should not register to take the test at O’Hara.

Important Guidance Updates:

Senior Students - If you are ready to start applying to college(s), please reach out to your counselor to make an appointment.

We wanted to thank all the parents who participated in the College Planning Information Night which was a huge success!

PSATs are scheduled for October 13th for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. Since the test has gone digital ALL COMPUTERS SHOULD BE FULLY CHARGED AND BROUGHT TO SCHOOL ON 10/13. Also, calculators are permitted so please bring one!

Upcoming college visits include Widener University, Manor College, Williamson College of the Trades, University of Delaware, LaSalle, Lehigh, Marywood, and High Point University. Students should sign up to attend through their Naviance account.

Have you ever thought of becoming Catholic or receiving Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist? Were you ever baptized but didn't have the chance to receive the other Sacraments? Father Taglianetti is here to help you! Last year there were 5 students who received Sacraments at O'Hara. This year, you could as well! Athletics

It was great welcoming our local CYO field hockey teams for the 8-team CYO tournament. We hope to see many of these ladies as future lions for life!

O’Hara finished 3rd in the District 12 Golf Championship behind only LaSalle and St. Joseph Prep. Ava Hneleski led the way with an 82, which was good for best female in both AAA and AA. She is pictured with her fellow seniors Joe Wennemer and LJ DiPietro. Juniors Mike Reardon and Brendan Till combined with the seniors for a great team effort. Ava now moves on to Penn State for the State championships in 2 weeks! Great Job Ava!

Nurse

Please assess your student's health in the morning before leaving for the school day.
