Happy first full month of Spring!!!
With Spring Break upon us we know there's usually changes in schedules. If you have a pup scheduled for a standing reservation that needs to be cancelled or switched due to Spring Break, feel free to
email us with any changes. We have a plenty of room for any last minute boarding reservations but please, give us at least 24 hour notice as we have to staff accordingly for overnights.
With the Michigan Spring rolling in, storms are bound to happen. Most of the pups handle the storms well at Happy Hounds due to the distractions of friends but there's always the select few who have a ruff time.
If your pup has anxiety with storms, feel free to pack any medications or thundershirts to help ease their anxiety.
To celebrate the new season and plenty of pool play, we're having a sale! The sale will be effective April 23rd through April 30th and will only be effective with first dog pricing. Remember, passes are good for a whole year after date of purchase. Feel free to stock up!!

Meet Beatrice
Beatrice, a Bernese Mountain dog mix, joined the Happy Hounds family in December 2015 at the age of 7 months. This lady is always on the go! She never stays in one place long and often finds herself splitting her time wisely between her pack of best friends just pawing to be her next chosen playmate. Though she's Miss Popular, she has one extra special pup in her life, her boyfriend, Teddy, an Akita mix. Even with her pretty serious relationship with Teddy, Beatrice still manages to balance her relationships with her friends, never leaving anyone feeling left out or like the third wheel. After a long day of play, we're left with plenty of reminders of the fun she had in the form of clumps of black fluff balls.. Her calling card of all the places she's been, played and wrestled.

Meet Huron Valley's perfect pair pups, Pepe and Garcon. They are believed to be brother and sister, these two came to the Humane Society when their owners moved and couldn't take them along. At just a year old, they are looking for a family who have dog experience. Pepe and Garcon have had a little harder time adjusting to shelter life and will need lots of time and help to adjust to their new home. These two will need to go home together, since they are very bonded and seem to thrive off each other being there. They would prefer that anyone in the household be over the age of 5, since they are not fans of sudden movements or loud noises. If you are interested in meeting these lovely souls, they are both available for adoption and able to go home today!

Please leave nylabones and rawhides at home. If packing a large bag of food, be sure to write the amount per feeding on the bag.
* Lobby doors are locked between 10am and 2pm on weekdays(Monday-Friday). We will not accept any arrivals or departures during those hours.
* Dogs with expired vaccines will
not be accepted for daycare or boarding. We require an
updated vaccination record 48 hours BEFORE he/she arrives. If you are traveling abroad, we also will need a local contact in case of emergency.
* Your dog MUST have a snap "quick release" collar for day care and boarding, with
no tags attached. This is important for your dogs safety.
* Please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time for cancellations and reservations.
* Be sure to inform us of any changes in contact information; phone numbers, email/home address, emergency contact, etc.
* If a family member or friend is picking up your pooch from daycare or boarding, you
must pre-pay your bill. If it's a last minute decision to have someone else pick your pup up, please give us a call with payment and let us know who we should be expecting.
