Happy Hounds News
February 2020

February is upon us and LOVE is in the air! It is that time of year again, we will be hosting our annual Valentine's Day Party! Due to amount of pups seeking a love connection, the love fest will be held on Thursday, February 13th AND Friday, February 14th! If your pup has a standing reservation for daycare on either Thursdays or Fridays, don't worry, your pup is already expected to find cupid's arrow, you will not need to make an additional reservation!

For our Valentine's Day Party, your pup will be matched with one of their favorite friends to engage in a delicious lunch for two while they pose for a couple adorable pictures! The menu will consist of gluten-free pasta with a dab of pureed pumpkin.

If you plan to bring your pup to the feast, please leave their lunch time snack at home, they will surely be satisfied with the meal that we provide!

Sincerely,

Happy Hounds

About Me:

Seeking sassy and semi fur-ocious, not looking for someone to hound me, I get enough of that from my little bro. I'm a good boy at heart but willing to go to the bark side for that special someone. Let's get together and see what we unleash.

Q&A:

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
  • "Property Owner and Collector. I guess you could say with all the territories I've claimed and monopolized, that dream became a reality."

What's your favorite place?
  •  "Pawllywood or any Muttropolitan area with good smells and great bushes"

What's your favorite day of the week?
  • "Wednesdays - I believe every day should be Hump Day"

What's your go to pick up line?
  •  "Your dog house or mine?"

What's your biggest fear?
  •  "Someone staking claim on MY territory"

About Me:

Lover not a fighter. Tired of chasing young tail who just want to play games and make me beg. Seeking the pawfect lady to bring home to mahm. The more obedience classes under your collar, the better.

Q&A:

What would constitute a "perfect" date?
  • "Double date with my big bro where mahm chauffeurs us from pet store to pet store."
What's your favorite song?
  • "Don't Stop Retrievin'" - Journey
What's your go to pick up line?
Quote to live by
  • "He didn't realize that love as powerful as your mother's for you leaves its own mark"
- J.K Rowling, Harry Paw-ter and the Sorcerer's Bone

What's the best advice you can give someone?
  • "It's important to set a good example for those who are less experienced and less housebroken"

Valentine's Party

First dates are pawkward. Sometimes you meet a perfect  gentleman or a lovely lady and sometimes, sometimes you meet someone who... well... isn't afraid to be themselves.

Our Valentine's dogs last year were no exception. Some of our pairs hit  it off, others ditched on the check and some went to the bathroom and never returned, leaving their date to finish the meal. And of course, we had a few serial daters who were only in it for the food. We will be giving all of your pooches a chance for redemption... hopefully the fourth time is the charm! After three years, these pups better bring their A-game for the ladies and show us some proper doggy etiquette. Mark your calendars and make your pup a daycare reservation for either:

Thursday, February 13th
or
Friday, February 14th!

(Dogs attending boarding either day are already booked for the pawty so no need to reserve!)

All pups attending the party will be offered a small plate of gluten-free pasta with a dab of pureed pumpkin to share with one of their favorite furry friend. With all these scrumptious snacks, please leave lunches at home unless absolutely necessary. Some of the young, rowdy pups may still want to bring a small lunch.

Important Reminders
Please leave nylabones and rawhides at home. If packing a large bag of food, be sure to write the amount per feeding on the bag.

* Lobby doors are locked between 10am and 2pm on weekdays(Monday-Friday). We will not accept any arrivals or departures during those hours.

*  Dogs with expired vaccines will not be accepted for daycare or boarding. We require an  updated vaccination record 48 hours BEFORE he/she arrives.  If you are traveling abroad, we also will need a local contact in case of emergency.

*  Your dog MUST have a snap "quick release" collar for day care and boarding, with
no tags attached. This is important for your dogs safety.

* Please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time for cancellations and reservations.

*  Be sure to inform us of any changes in contact information; phone numbers, email/home address, emergency contact, etc.

*  If a family member or friend is picking up your pooch from daycare or boarding, you must pre-pay your bill. If it's a last minute decision to have someone else pick your pup up, please give us a call with payment and let us know who we should be expecting.

We'd be more than happy to take any and all plastic bags off of your hands.
