It feels so good to be back with our Happy Hounds family! We cannot thank our parents and pups enough for making this transition to re-open such a positive experience! We were not sure what to expect, if any pups would return, how pups would handle a curbside drop off/pick up, but we have been pleasantly surprised. Thank you for so much for all of your support, cooperation and understanding!!
We have received a lot of interest in weekend daycare and overnight boarding, so after much discussion, we have determined that we are ready for Happy Hounds to return to normal!
Effective Monday, June 1st, Happy Hounds has returned to Monday - Sunday daycare (7am-7pm) + cage free overnight boarding!
*We do ask parents to please schedule daycare/boarding reservations at least 1-2 days in advance to ensure that we can staff accordingly and to ensure that we have a spot for your pup!
We are all in this together and we will continue to keep parents updated with any and all changes to our schedule, procedures and policies!
Additionally, boarding over the 4th of July will be limited.
Reserve your pooch as soon as possible to assure your pup's spot!

Meet Gunner
Gunner, a lab, joined the Happy Hounds family in June 2017 at the age of 10 Months..
Gunner is an all around Good Boy, the type any mother would love for their dog-ter to bring home. Aside from his award winning manners, charming personality and flawless academics, he has a stunning reputation among elders and peers, never once receiving a call home from a disapproving principal. Gunner is also quite popular among the other pups in class. Though his best friends tend to be other labs, he will never turn his nose up to a new friend looking to introduce themselves.
They say a photo is worth a thousand words and this one says it all. Gunner is not only dashing and handsome, he's a true gentleman... A Disney Prince, Prince Charming, if you will. When a lovely lady lab strutts by, his cool, calm demeanor turns into a puddle of romantic mush as he makes his move, scooting in closer with a delicate paw to her shoulder. I think it's pretty clear that he's at that age where he's now ready to traverse all dog parks, pet stores, you name it, in search of his Labby-Cinderella.

Please leave nylabones and rawhides at home. If packing a large bag of food, be sure to write the amount per feeding on the bag.
* Lobby doors are locked between 10am and 2pm on weekdays(Monday-Friday). We will not accept any arrivals or departures during those hours.
* Dogs with expired vaccines will
not be accepted for daycare or boarding. We require an
updated vaccination record 48 hours BEFORE he/she arrives. If you are traveling abroad, we also will need a local contact in case of emergency.
* Your dog MUST have a snap "quick release" collar for day care and boarding, with
no tags attached. This is important for your dogs safety.
* Please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time for cancellations and reservations.
* Be sure to inform us of any changes in contact information; phone numbers, email/home address, emergency contact, etc.
* If a family member or friend is picking up your pooch from daycare or boarding, you
must pre-pay your bill. If it's a last minute decision to have someone else pick your pup up, please give us a call with payment and let us know who we should be expecting.
