There are some important dates coming up:

First, Happy Hounds will be closed May 20 at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. May 21 and will not be taking overnight reservations for that night only. The staff will all be offsite that evening for a special event. (This will not affect you if you have an extended boarding that happens to include that date.)

Second, we are launching a new service Late Nite -Date Nite so check out the details below.

Third, this year we celebrate Happy Hounds 10th Anniversary. Be sure to mark your calendar for some extra special fun on Saturday July 12 through Sunday July 13 (which coincides with Art in the Park here in Plymouth.) We will have more details in the near future, but it's safe to say it will be a tasty affair for you and your pups...

Late Nite Date Nite Arrives May 22!
Wouldn't it be nice to go out on a date, have a leisurely dinner with your honey and spend the evening painting the town - and not have to worry that the dog needs to go out or be fed, or when you get home late your dog is so excited and revved all they want to do is play?

To make that special evening happen, we are introducing LATE NITE - DATE NITE starting Thursday May 22. You can drop your dog off at 7 p.m. and pick up as late as midnight. We'll make sure your dog is well cared for and has a good play time, so when you're ready to go to bed, so is your dog!

Here's the LATE NITE - DATE NITE schedule:
May 22, June 26, July 24, Aug. 28, Sept. 25, Oct. 20
Call to reserve your special evening. The regular day rate of $33 applies to LATE NITE - DATE NITE stays.
Meet This Month's Happy Pups
Bella H.
    This pretty pooch is Bella, a black lab. Bella
joined the Happy Hounds family in October of 2006 at the tender age of 8 months. She is the biggest sweetheart ever! Bella never has a bad day. She always comes in ready to greet everyone and play! As a typical lab, Ms. Bella could play ball all day long and she does! When it's a nice, warm day, she's often one of the first to hop in the pools and the last to leave.

    Cotton U.
    This handsome man is Cotton, a golden retriever. Cotton joined the Happy Hounds family in October 2007 at the age of 2 years. He is the epitome of a social butterfly. Cotton makes new friends every day. He's always one of the first to befriend a new dog. Helping them ease into playing. Cotton is one of our jocks. There isn't one game he can't win. His favorite are wrestling with friends and playing fetch.

    Howie P.
    This sweet boy is Howie, a lab mix. Howie joined the Happy Hounds family in October 2007 at the age of one. He's our little ham. Howie loves every bit of attention he receives from the staff and the pack. If he's not playing ball, he's often passing out kisses to the faces of all the lady pups. Once he's all worn out, he enjoys sitting on the deck, soaking in the sun.

    Shadow P.
    This lovely lady is Shadow, a flat coat retriever. Shadow joined the Happy Hounds family in April of 2005 at the age of two years. She's such an awesome pooch. All of the new dogs look up to her and respect her very much. Shadow is exactly what her name says, our shadow. She's never too far from someone. When we're outside with the pools, Shadow sits at our feet and helps us patrol the pups.
Some Important Safety Reminders
SOME FRIENDLY REMINDERS
When boarding your dog with us, we MUST have your dogs updated vaccination records 48 hours BEFORE he/she begin boarding. If you are traveling abroad, we also will need a local contact in case of emergency.
 
* Your dog MUST have a snap "quick release" collar for day care and boarding, with no tags attached.  If this is not his/her daily collar you can keep the snap collar in you Happy Hounds backpack and we will change it out when your dogs arrive at Happy Hounds.  This is important for your dog's safety.

* Current vaccine records are required to attend daycare or lodging. If expired by 1 month or longer, you will be reminded that your pooch cannot play at Happy Hounds.

* Reservations are required to attend daycare 24 hours prior to the playdate, email reservations or phone ahead please.

* Please keep your best friend's nails clipped so that they can play safely.
We look forward to helping you with all your dog's needs in a fun, safe and cage-free environment! Remember, we are the real deal when it comes to cage-free. You won't find one on the premises. We are cage-free 24/7!
