Wendy Warner
Meet Your County Officers

It is rare that a volunteer heads back into the fray to lead again and again. Wendy Warner stepped up to run the Denver Republican Party in the fall of 2021 for her third time. Wendy Warner's expertise running the county assembly in April was invaluable. Not everyone can wrangle an animated crowd using Robert's Rules of Order.

Warner also likes to connect in a more grassroots way. Wendy talks to new precinct leaders about walking their neighborhood: "I introduce myself as the assembly person for the precinct. I tell them I am their neighbor. Most people are polite and even friendly, especially when you tell them you live a block away." Outreach has been an important focus for Wendy.

Wendy Warner currently serves as the First Vice Chairman of the Denver County Republican Party. Fortunately for us, Wendy shares her vast knowledge by offering training on many topics for the party.

Are you a precinct leader and would like to take Wendy's training? Would you like to be a precinct leader? Contact us.

Happy Hour at Blue Bonnet Cafe

Join your like-minded friends Thursday, May 26 at the Blue Bonnet for some delicious Tex-Mex fare. Denver GOP is hosting happy hour again. This is a casual event, so no speeches or business, but the conversations will be filled with the buzz of current events.

The Republican Party is growing larger and unaffiliated voters are leaning in our direction more than ever before. We welcome anyone new to politics to join us at happy hour. The in-person conversations can be uplifting.

Blue Bonnet Cafe has a private space for us to use. There will be candidates dropping in to say hello to this informal, social event. Guillermo Diaz, running for HD1 and Stephanie Wheeler, running for HD2, Marla Fernandez, running for HD3, and Hilleary Waters will be attending.

Blue Bonnet's Tex-Mex has been a Denver favorite for decades. Enjoy a cold margarita, a smothered burrito, and relax with your conservative neighbors. There is plenty of parking at Blue Bonnet.

Ballots Drop June 6
New Website Coming Soon

Ballots for the June 28 primary election go into the mail on June 6. The county is organizing volunteers for the upcoming primary election. More information will follow.

The new website for the Denver Republican Party will debut shortly on the same domain, DenverGOP.org. It will load much faster in your browser. The new menu structure will make things easier to find, with quicker access to information on the county officers and districts.

You will be all able to access the new district maps. There will be a new events calendar page.

There will be a new password protected page for training, especially helpful to precinct committee persons (PCPs). It will be easier for us to update the website and keep the information current.
