They are part of Seattle Public Utilities Adopt a Street program which provides free supplies to volunteers who want to help clean up their neighborhoods. See how you can pitch in to keep Seattle clean!

The Capitol Hill Community Council is kicking off an appreciation program. April's recipient is Seattle Fire Department. You have till Thursday to visit particpiting locations. (More Info)

It Takes You to Get Things Done

Fill out the CHCC Interest Area Survey. The CHCC has been meeting, documenting and doing outreach to various groups about the ideas brought up at the Great Idea Fest. But we can't do it alone.

From the Great Idea Fest - More lighting

To improve public safety in Capitol Hill, a lighting improvement plan has been developed. Phase one focuses on 11th avenue between Union and Pike, which is the highest crime area. The plan is for more street lighting to be added, funded by the Mayor's office and the City of Seattle. Have feedback? Want to provide input?
