Hey Everyone! HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I am so grateful you are in my life!!!

How was your week? Mine was SO fun! I did a 5K, a 3 hour bike ride, a long swim, and a marathon on the treadmill! GOOD TIMES!!!

My favorite part was watching MOCKINGJAY PART 2 for Date Night w my hubby <3

Other than that I am on DAY 38 of my bike streak, and started working with a cycling coach. He is KICKING MY ASS! But I love it!!!

I am  grateful for my body. It does a great job of putting up with and recovering from pretty much everything I make it do!!! At age 43 I can't complain!!!

EASY Vegan Meals...

All Natural Raw Sports Drink
I had been wanting to start making my own sports drink for the past couple years, so with Raw Wednesday back, I was looking for something raw, all natural, and healthier than the average sports drink. I experiemented with a few different recipes I made up over a couple weeks, and finally came up with this one that I love! So far I have used it in up to a 3 hour workout, I would need more calories if doing longer, but for now this works great!

Fresh Juiced Apples or Simply Apple Juice
Apple Cider Vinegar
Lemon Essential Oil
Iodized Salt

For each quart, mix 1/2 c Apple Juice, 1 tbsp ACV, 2 drops Lemon Essential Oil, pinch of Iodized Salt, and the rest of the quart fill with cold water. Shake and drink!

I wanted to share 3 of my favorite ways to get through 1,000 (meters or yards) continuous swim. If you have longer or shorter sets, you can adjust these workouts to fit what you are swimming whether it's a 200, 500, 2,000, or 5,000.

To a lot of people, the title of my post today sounds weird. Why would anyone eat other than the way they want to?

But time and time again I have people come to me for nutrition help and this is actually exactly what they say to me: I'm not eating the way I want to.

And they aren't the only ones. If you have read my old posts, you would know that I also struggle with this. For example it took me about 10 years to become vegan AFTER I had claimed I was going to. And more recently struggle daily with (but getting better at) incorporating mostly raw meals into my day.
