House hold trash only!
$$$$$
| |
Our Community Pays The Price
For Those Who Monopolize Our Compactor Space!
We enjoy a great convenience here, of being able to rid of our house hold trash, safely, anytime we want. But we have recently seen an increasing incidence of individuals throwing unauthorized items in our compactor. These items include, furniture, metal and wooden boxes, shelving units etc. These items do not compact like normal house hold trash. This causes the rammer to run insufficiently, which increases the number of times we have to call for a pickup. These additional pickups, with less than capacity being taken away, add up to additional fuel charges and service fees. In short, costing our association, you the homeowners, money that could be used elsewhere. Our cameras are on 24, 7. We offer a yearly slash n' trash for such items. Please be respectful going forward. We do have the ability to identify and will be forced to confront any offenders going forward.

Permit Process
Step By Step
When considering any upgrades on the exterior of your home, please remember our permit process is in place for the esthetics and orderliness of our community. AppFolio has made the process efficient and in most cases, faster than our old paper method. This also allows our volunteer ARC committee to review simple applications anytime from their computer which vitally eliminates the month long wait times in the past. Remember you can stop by the office if you need assistance. Just remember to bring your AppFolio log-in and pass word with you. We have attached some very helpful links below.

Columbine Lake Water District
H2O Corner
By Mike Golden, FAIC, CPC
President Columbine Lake Water District Board of Directors
The Columbine Lake Water District is a Colorado Special District. It is a separate entity from Three Lakes Water and Sanitation District(TLWSD), although it has contracted all operations to TLWSD since 1980. Columbine Lake Country Club is yet another separate entity.
Each of the three listed entities has their own separate billing systems.
The Columbine Lake Water District’s website is https://columbinelakewd.colorado.gov/
Board meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 3:00 PM MT
HISTORY :
In 1980 Columbine Lake Water & Sanitation District sold their sewer lines to Three Lakes Water & Sanitation District, and became a provider of water only. The District name was formally changed to Columbine Lake Water District in December, 1997.
In 1984 a 200,000 gallon water storage tank was built and Water Plant #2 was rebuilt. In 2005 the renovation of Water Plant #1 was completed, which included adding equipment for the removal of manganese from the water.
Columbine Lake Water District (CLWD) has 474 distinct accounts they provide water to. CLWD has no employees and has contracted operation and administration of the district to Three Lakes Water and Sanitation District(TLWSD)since 1980.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
CLWD has two sources of water: a well near the Club House, where a 150GPM pump, pumps water to the treatment plant (Water plant 1) where it is disinfected and sent to the distribution system.
The second source is a spring, near the north beach, where a 150GPMpump, pumps water to the treatment plant (Water plant 2)where it is disinfected and sent to the water distribution system.
Both systems work together. Interestingly, either system can operate our entire potable water system.
The storage tank on Golf Course road, near TLWSD office, is also filled from the distribution system. It has a storage capacity of 200,000 gallons.
Here’s to good, clean, safe, affordable H2O!
