Happy Independence Day!
Greetings!
When is Independence Day?

Was it July 2nd when the Continental Congress Voted for independence? Was it August 2nd when the Declaration of Independence  was eventually signed by fifty-six delegates.

It is, of course, celebrated on July 4th, when Thomas Jefferson finished the final draft of the Declaration of Independence.

It has been almost 250 years since that writing. As for me, the United States is still blessed, and the best place to live, although we have recently had growing pains.

Why do I say the US is so good? I’ve either been to or lived in 22 different countries to compare.

I believe the things that the Declaration of Independence says. And, this is what July 4th celebrations are all about. Not the bumps in the road nor the detours. But all men are brothers and sisters and are created equal.

I realize that to many, July 4 is a time for grilling and getting together with family and friends. And it should be because we symbolize that we are all equal.

Please don’t forget what July 4th is about! Have a blast! Praise God!
