Lunch With Leaders: Hometown Strong

At  Lunch With Leaders: Hometown Strong, held on June 25th,  attendees were able to hear from multiple State Agency Representative sitting throughout the room and were addressed by Eric Boyette, Secretary and State Chief Information Officer for the North Carolina Department of Information Technology, and Pryor Gibson, Hometown Strong Leader. They discussed topics like local broadband networks and cyber security, students and schooling, and leadership training. It was great to learn about the  Hometown Strong  initiative and all that they are doing to reach out to and help rural communities.A special Thanks to all who participated and supported this event.

Triad Chambers Meet

A meeting was held on June 28 with several of the Chamber CEOs from around the Piedmont Triad. This is a new group of Chamber professionals
who will be gathering to network and share ideas.

Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening - Foothills Hardware & Builders Supply
July 19th, 2019

Foothills Hardware & Builders Supply has opened an additional location in Mount Airy! Join the Chamber and many community members in celebrating the growth of this successful business with fun giveaways and hot dogs. The Grand Opening will be held on July 19th from 9am-2pm with a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10am. See you there!
