CWNY Celebrates International Women's Day

This month we celebrate women past and present. We express our gratitude for the women who have brought us to where we are today, and acknowledge where we need to go.

Our work makes history every day, as we take steps to build a thriving community of empowered women that can shape the world and the future. We celebrate International Women’s Day by committing to continue to make history for the women of our community and beyond, and to make the world a more open, safe, and equitable place.

Our programs are history in the making.

Each program is aimed at supporting the advancement and wellbeing of the whole woman. From support groups, to workforce development, and ESL classes, CWNY seeks to lift up women so that the world may be a fairer, safer, more vibrant place.

Today, and every day, we celebrate with gratitude our founder, Ann Jawin.

Ann launched a community that has provided refuge and support for the women of New York for over 30 years.

Thank you, Ann, for creating this wonderful community, where we are able to learn, grow, connect, and make this world a better place for women.
