MCWD Highlights Staff on International Women's Day

Happy International Women's Day to the accomplished female staff who work to provide high-quality water and wastewater services for our customers.

At Marina Coast Water District women work across all departments from field operations to executive leadership, accounting and engineering, customer service to human resources, and interns working their way through college.

We are proud of the women who drive innovation to ensure a safe water supply as we celebrate their achievements at the District as:

In all capacities, female staff work to deliver safe and environmentally sustainable water, recycled water, and wastewater services as they:

Work to solve real-world challenges within constraints like cost, safety, and time.

Develop and implement programs to increase water-use efficiency and reduce demand.

Maintain and ensure safety and reliability through water quality compliance.

Manage financial operations and track revenue, utility billing, and capital project expenditures, and prepare financial statements, process payroll, maintain fixed asset records (like pipelines and treatment), and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Provide customer service including 24-hour support for emergencies.

Update processes like ways to pay your bill through new online portal.

Focus on public health and safety to meet community needs.
