Celebrate with your Fur Friends this Season
As a dog owner who enjoys the company of my fur friend, I wanted to dedicate this issue to pet-friendly locations around the Tampa Bay area. My team helped me come up with a list of pet-friendly locations to celebrate Independence Day with your pup; Keep reading to fill up your calendar with some of these stops!
Keep in mind, festivities will be happening all over the Tampa Bay area this Independence Day, and if your pets get nervous with loud noises, make sure to get them exercised in the daytime and put them a comfy corner in your house for the evening. Take your pooch out for a bathroom break before nightfall and then keep them inside for the evening. Local animal shelters see a huge increase in lost dogs this time of year because they tend to run away from the loud noises and end up lost.

Start the Star-Spangled Season with an Update Worth Celebrating
Summer time is a great season to consider home improvement projects. Not only do these improve your home's appearance, but some can add value as well. Here are a few ways to add more for less:
| | |
-
Landscaping. Curb appeal is your home's first impression. Keeping your garden simple not only puts emphasis on your house, but it's easier to maintain as well.
-
New windows. Replacing your older windows can improve insulation, meaning less allergens in your home and a lower energy bill.
-
Kitchen and bathroom remodel. Reduce costs here by choosing a few outdated pieces to replace, including light fixtures, wall coverings, and cabinet colors.
-
Painting. A fresh coat of interior or exterior paint, if done right, can net over 100% return on your investment.
