Happy July!!

Summer is upon us, friends! Hope you have been able to really kick off summer in an awesome way! If you're traveling, be safe! But if you'll be around, hope you'll join us for any of our activities this month. It'd be great to see you and spend time with you!

Yours in Christ,
July 4

July 29 (SUNDAY!) 11am-1pm
--Paddle Boarding, Prayer, Pina Coladas!

Summer means more outdoor fellowship opportunities! Join us for this month's fellowship that Jim has so "cleverly" titled Paddle Boarding, Prayer, and Pina Coladas! Haha... Please note that the day of week we are doing this will be a Sunday! It's summer. We're young adults. We do what we want! Hope to see you there. Will send out details in the next couple of weeks about prices and carpools so please stay tuned!
Formerly known as the "Mega Mass", this event is one of the popular events the diocese hosts every year. This year will be pretty special because we will also be hosting a talented singer/song-writer, Audrey Assad. Please click here for more details!

There is a need for trained Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to serve at this Mass. If you are a trained EM, please contact Dorinamae ASAP... if you're thinking, well, it's too late and they won't need me anymore... you're wrong! I NEED YOU! Please get back to me soon. Or if you'd like to be trained before August, we can work with that too!
This year's young adult retreat will take place September 14-16... SIGN UP AHEAD OF TIME! Click here for details!
Have you ever thought about serving at our Sunday 5:15pm Young Adult Mass? If so, we would love to train you and get you on the schedule! There is a special need for Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers but could also use some altar servers, musicians, and ushers! You don't have to already know what you're doing --we'll train you! If you have a desire to serve God and represent young adults at the Mass, contact Val! Thank you for your prayerful consideration!
Volunteers are needed to help bring the Eucharist to the sick and homebound on Saturday mornings. You would not be going alone but with a group of two or more. We leave from the Cathedral right after the 9am Saturday Mass (~9:30). If you are interested and available even one or two Saturdays a month, come join us on a Saturday or contact Val-   val@sdcathedral.org  for more info.

What do YOU want to do?

Hiking last month was lots of fun! Now that the sun doesn't set until a little later, the fellowship possibilities are endless! Maybe next month's fellowship will be an idea you come up with! If you have any ideas for other fun activities the group can do together, shoot us an email and we'll make it our next fellowship meeting! Send all suggestions to Dorinamae at Dorinamae@sdcathedral.org. Thanks!
