Every 1st Saturday, Canal Street hosts vendors in tents presenting their handmade products for sale. These artists and artisans offer a wide variety of attractive products, adding to the reasons you should visit Canal Street on every 1st Saturday.

Enjoy music at the corner of Canal St. & Live Oak - James Wise will be performing from 11am-1pm.

Join us at Wirth Gallery during Gallery Walk on 1st Saturday, September 6, for the dedication of the newest public art piece in the Downtown Arts District. Its lowly beginning as a functional bench and barrier to mitigate water pooling on the sidewalk has now been turned into a beautiful work of art (still for sitting and resting under the Live Oak canopy) called River in Motion. There will be beverages and bites available during the dedication, and singer/songwriter Lucy Spotts will be performing. Given the environmental theme of the artwork, a portion of gallery sales at Wirth Gallery will be donated to the Marine Discovery Center. We hope to see you there.

You’ll also find a variety of artisan and natural value-added products, including metal art, products made from recycled goods, garden art, whimsical designs, wooden art, handmade clothing, soaps, body products, candles, and so much more.

Every month on the second Saturday. Stroll beautiful Canal Street while viewing cars of all years, makes, and models. A new beginning for the tradition with the active participation of the Canal Street Merchants Association and the City of New Smyrna Beach. Music by DJ Frank.

• No parking of show cars before 2pm if you are not patronizing local businesses, and please be respectful of sidewalks and storefronts by not placing chairs, coolers, tables, etc., in walkways or in front of businesses. The 2025 schedule will be held every month except July & August. Website
