I hope this email finds you well on this fine Labor Day Morning.

I’ll be brief as I just have a few time-sensitive reminders.

First, Alternate Side Parking and parking meters are suspended today, as are sanitation services.

Also, from the Department of Education, the 2020-2021 school year calendar is now available. As previously announced, remote learning will start on September 16 with a transitional period. September 21 is the first full day of school, with blended learning beginning on that day. Unlike in previous years, students will have a full day of school remotely on Election Day. The last day of school is scheduled for June 25. All breaks and holidays from the previous academic year remain as before except for the April break. The April break will be one week long, two days shorter than scheduled for last April.

The only labor I recommend on Labor Day, if you haven’t already done it, is dedicating 10 minutes of work and fill out the census as there are only 23 days left to do so.

On a final note, I wish you, a restful Labor Day; suggest checking out the items below my signature and hope you stay safe.
