May your father and mother rejoice; may she who gave you birth be joyful!
Happy Mother's Day from CrossOver Healthcare Ministry!
Each year at CrossOver Healthcare Ministry, more than 100 babies are born through our OB program. Volunteer obstetricians and women's health nurse practitioners provide expert prenatal care to all of our expectant mothers. We also provide patient education and counseling services to help our new moms be as ready as they can for their new bundle of joy. Meet two of our moms below.
Meylin is a brand new patient at CrossOver. Above, she meets with her volunteer provider, Nancy Jallo, WHNP, and carefully listens to the care plan for her pregnancy. Prenatal care is vital for both mom and baby.
Last week, Sindy brought her new baby boy Adreinne with her for her first postpartum visit. She was thrilled to introduce her "most precious treasure" to the entire OB Team, as well as everyone in the waiting room!
P.S. We’re excited to announce that we have hired a Community Engagement Manager! Becca Wethered currently works part-time in our Vision Program as a Bilingual Eye Assistant. Starting May 13th, Becca will transition to her new role as Community Engagement Manager where she will recruit and onboard volunteers, manage special events and their volunteer committees, and serve as the point of contact for community outreach efforts. Please join us in congratulating Becca on her new role! Becca may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
