Be A Good Shepherd to Others and a Humble and Obedient Sheep to the Lord

Father our Loving and Eternal Shepherd, be honor and glory to you. Thank you for your tireless protection and guidance. For bringing closer to you each day, our green pasture. You supply us not only food that last a moment, Jesus, your Son, our lasting Food. We are blessed and privileged. As we celebrate the fourth Sunday of Easter, a Good Shepherd Sunday, we pray that the shepherd of your church be always filled with your love and compassion as they shepherd your people. Like Jesus, our godly Shepherd, they may imitate Him in His unselfish love, every ready to offer even one’s life for the sheep. Send to your Catholic Church young people ready to be trained to become future pastors and shepherds of your Church. Grant all these in Jesus Name, our true Shepherd.

St. Mary Magdalen of Canossa, pray for us.
