We’re thrilled to announce that our very own MNTC researcher, Dr. Junead Mankari, has won First Place in the “Most Stunning Image” category of the 2026 National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure (NNCI) Image Contest!
NNCI sites from across the country submitted stunning, unique, and whimsical images showcasing the fascinating world of micro- and nanotechnology. With more than 1,700 public votes cast, this year’s competition celebrated the incredible beauty and creativity found at the micro- and nanoscale.
