PASADENA INSTITUTE!
In April, the CECMP team partnered with the California Association for the Education of Young Children (CAEYC) to host the first two-day in person CECMP Institute in two years! Fifty participants attended the event, including Coordinators, Director Mentors, and Mentor Teachers!
CECMP also visited five mentor colleges in Southern California where we learned from District Leaders, Coordinators, Mentor Teachers, Deans, and Directors of their experiences with the Mentor Program. CECMP shared knowledge, discussed the purpose, vision, and goals of the CECMP, responded to questions, and asked questions to gather data and feedback.

Letters of Agreement COMING SOON!
Attention Coordinators!

Letters of Agreement are expected to be sent out
late August.

Please be sure to keep your eye out for them in your email. All Letters of Agreement will be arriving via email as a DocuSign document.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Each college is required to have a fully executed Letter of Agreement (LOA) on record with CECMP, as stipulated in our contract with the California Department of Social Services. CECMP must have your college’s fully executed LOA on record no later than December 9th. (This is also the cutoff date for submissions on the reimbursement site, for December 20th check run.) We will be unable to provide State approval of reimbursement site submissions until the fully executed LOA has been returned to CECMP State offices. Any reimbursement site submission made prior to the State office receiving an LOA will remain pending until the fully executed LOA is received.

Please note:
  • Director Mentors are now back under the contracts of the Colleges and they will be reaching out to you to partner (more details outlined in your LOA).
