The De La Salle School Class of 2020
Greetings from Mr. Gault

A Blessed and Happy New Year!
As we usher in the New Year, we also begin the process of recruiting for the Class of 2024. This class will start fifth grade in September and when they graduate in June of 2024 they will represent our nineteenth graduating class. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings back in 2002, yet there is still much more that is needed to continue the mission of providing a quality human and Christian education for young men from economically challenged families here on Long Island.
This week we began administering our Mid Term exams, a clear indicator that the school year has reached the half way point and the second semester is about to begin. Students are diligently studying and preparing for each subject area, hoping for positive results, as they conclude the first semester of the academic year. There is a real sense of determination and pride in the building as the young men look to successfully finish the first semester on a high note.
The eighth-grade students are also eagerly waiting for the results of the CHSEE exams. The exam to determine placement in a Catholic High School was taken in November and the results and acceptance letters are being mailed or emailed this week. Please keep our eighth-grade students in your prayers as they discern what the next step in their educational journey will be.
Thank you for the support and encouragement that we received in 2019 and please be assured of our continued prayers for our friends and benefactors throughout 2020.
Live Jesus in our Hearts...
