Reflection from Tasha,

Maya Angelou says, "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." 2020 definitely saw several of us go through a metamorphosis. We were unsure of what was to come, one day to the next. But look at us now; we have arrived. 2021 is here, and we have overcome quite a bit to get here. Now that we are here, what do we do? How do we regroup? What did we learn?
I've personally learned a lot about myself and others around me. I've learned that self-care and a willingness to grow through challenges go hand in hand. I've learned that I can be anything through grace, patience, and understanding. I've learned that there is a certain rejuvenation that takes place, a desire to be better than before; to simply exist is no longer appealing. The spirit of the warrior prevailed in me and in others in 2020.
I look forward to what is around the corner for us in 2021. And, from what I can gather so far, it can be great! At the WBC, we have a lot of optimism for the success of our clients, community, partners, and ourselves. It is the Year of the Ox, the year of the hard worker. The WBC is excited to expand our work and introduce a new marketing approach, new curriculum, new workshop series, and new partnerships. This wouldn't be possible without the people who support our work or the clients who are all committed to hard work and excellence.
So, here's to 2021!

Ready! Set! Launch! 12-Week Small Business
Training Program
This program, starting in February 2021, is designed to inform, engage, and empower women business owners on their roadmap to entrepreneurship.
During the 12-week program, entrepreneurs will strengthen their business knowledge with personal coaching and development through hybrid training, gaining access to professional services, 1:1 support, mentors, and financial counseling, with the goal of navigating from idea to launching a successful business.
