Educating Our Dancers
Springfield Ballet Company dancers had an amazing master class in contemporary jazz with SBC alum Lauren Small on Friday, December 30, 2016.

Lauren is i n her final semester of graduate school at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, and is in the process of writing the thesis for her MFA in Dance.

This semester, Lauren will be presenting choreography at American College Dance Association's Southern Regional Conference and can be found most days writing new stories for her dance lifestyle blog at Lauren Ashlee Dance:

Magic Awaits...

Faerie Tale : A Royal Wedding

Snow White, Cinderella and their Princes are traveling through the woods on a magical night. They find themselves amid a fairy preparation for the wedding of Titania and Oberon, King and Queen of the fairies. An errant donkey carrying gifts for the couple wanders into the woods to rest.

Between these unlikely groups flies Puck, armed only with a wicked sense of humor and a love potion capable of making anyone fall for the first person they set eyes upon.

What could possibly go wrong?

Faerie Tale is Springfield Ballet Company's new ballet set to the music of Felix Mendhelssohn and Pytor Tchaikovsky.

Thank you to local artist Dominic Cellini for the design of our artwork.
