A New Year's Greeting

As our 70th year comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on everything that has happened at The Craft Guild in the last year. Here are some of my favorite moments captured in pictures:

2018 started with packing parties, painting parties, the "Big Move" which included 12 loads of 26 foot moving trucks packed to the brim, and then unpacking parties. We've seen the big clay kilns rebuilt, the parking lot trenched to bring us enough gas pressure, the Gallery rebuilt and we even watched a crane deliver a new A/C unit to the roof. We've had a successful Open House in our new home, two successful shows and a new tradition - watching fireworks from our parking lot.

We've added new teachers and new workshops and we've had a record number of new students this year. So the Board would like to thank those new students, as well as the members who stayed with us through the transition years in Valley View Mall. Thank you again to our members and supporters whose contributions have made The Craft Guild of Dallas the strong supportive community that makes us the best place in the DFW area to learn, create, inspire, and be inspired.

We look forward to seeing all of you again in 2019.
Best wishes,
Rebecca Moore
