Traditionally, video game counsels such as PlayStation & XBOX have strived to make graphics so good that trying to differentiate reality and video games has become quite a brain teaser. But now, the makers of Gran Turismo 6 and PlayStation want to take it a step further by integrating your actual driving and comparing it to the Gran Turismo's recommended line and Data...the future is hear.

 For the 20 years Fast Lane has been in business, it could not have been done without some of our awesome team members. For January 2014, we'd like to stop, recognize and hope you'll get to know Steve Staveley who has been an instructor at Fast Lane since 1999. Not only does Steve contribute his knowledge of racing through our High Performance Courses, but also in our Defensive Driving Academy, often times leading classroom and programs that contribute to saving lives.
While Steve is an accomplished racer and instructor, if you look closely in his resume on LinkedIn, you'll notice he has not only been in law enforcement for nearly 40 years, but also spent 10 of those years as a Police Chief. He shares his passion for law enforcement through one of Fast Lane's successful programs, High Speed EVOC, which is a program designed for upcoming CHP Cadets in order to prepare them for the High Speed portion of their academy as they are required to pass in order to become a California Highway Patrol officer. To date, with Steve's leadership in this program, hundreds of Cadets have participated in this program which has yielded a pass rate of 98%.
Steve not only has the great traits of a leader such as being humble, proactive, passionate...but a great person to just sit down and have a chat with. Fast Lane is fortunate to have such a special person on our team!
