January 2022
Dear Friends
It is with mixed emotions that I am sharing with you that I will be leaving my position as PJ Library Manager at the end of this month.
When we started PJ Library in Calgary in May 2009, we had what seemed like an ambitious goal of registering 110 children for our new ground breaking program. We had no idea how successful our "little book program" would become. Here we are in January 2022, mailing out 520 PJ books and 131 PJOW books every month, and we have added PJ Tot Shabbat, Shalom Baby, PJ Our Way and PJ Grandparents to the mix. We have hosted literally hundreds of programs everywhere in the city from the JCC to synagogues, day schools, Heritage Park, Camp BB and Granary Road. We have enjoyed live children's concerts, shared Get Together experiences, and delivered 1200 PJ Holiday Kits (and learned to zoom) during the pandemic. It has been an incredible experience.
Thank you, friends, for sharing your children's Jewish journey with me. I have loved every minute of it and will cherish the memories.
