Greetings!
Hope you had a great New Year's Eve and we wish you an amazing 2023!
As a club founding president, I am very thankful to you all past and current club families to keep this dream of mine going across this community, providing high quality soccer services to your kids and the club flourishing more and more every year!
Here is a little recap for 2022 and some goals for 2023!
1.2022 RECAP
Our Academy (U4-U9) and Rec (U10-U15) sides had hundreds of kids playing in 4 cities (Boise, Caldwell, Meridian and Middleton), participating in Spring and Fall and always concluding the seasons with our traditional and very fun jamboree events.
Our academy uniform loaner program is still one of our jewels which makes us proud, allowing families to optionally borrow some of the uniforms to make their involvement even more economical.
Our competitive program (U9-U19) saw 5 of our teams winning their respective futsal divisions (2 in the Jan/Feb 2022 season and 3 in the recent Nov/Dec 2022 season). In outdoor, except our U11 boys team which ended up tied on first place, most of our teams ended up in mid table and with the work our teams put every year in the months of November through February, we almost always improve our results in Spring.
I am personally proud of all our coaches and the work the put with all our teams. Congrats to all and special mention to the champions! See more here.
2.LOOKING FORWARD TO 2023
For 2023, we will continue delivering programs and resources at all levels! With the current inflationary economy going on, we are committed to remain competitive in our pricing and continue to be one of the most economic programs around! 2023 will see our 21st year of operation!
Some of our goals include to continue growing and strengthening our competitive side. This is possible to our quality licensed coaches, coaching curriculum and its execution by a director of coaching in conjunction with the mentioned coaches. Continue providing funds for our coaches to progress on their licensure pathway is key. We are committed to this.
Also, our academy program U4-U9 is key to ensure every year we are able to continue to supply players to our competitive program (U9-U19) so we will continue nurturing this key program. Our competitive program has most of its teams in the younger brackets which is an indication that our academy (U4-U9) program is yielding great fruits!
For our competitive teams to be able to compete at higher levels, however, the club is working hard to expand the technical direction and I am hoping to deliver some great news in this first quarter!
As said, our academy program U4-U9 is key to ensure every year we are able to continue to supply players to our competitive program (U9-U19). Our academy coaches are volunteers but they are under the guidance of a Director of Coaching and some pro coaches. They are provided with biweekly training plans. I am proud of all the academy and rec volunteer coaches, who diligently execute the pro training plans and make our kids enjoy the game at the fullest as they develop critical technical, tactical, physical and psychosocial skills specific to their age.
Also our relatively new REC U10-U15 program allows us to offer soccer to those players who do not want to play competitive after playing in the academy. Having these kids play in a 5v5 format, allows them to get more touches on the ball and develop faster. See why here.
3.COACHES, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, PARENTS & SPONSORS
We continue to be so lucky of the quality of individuals and entities involved with our club.
Coaches and Staff make our ship smoothly navigate the sometimes-turbulent waters of soccer.
Our Volunteers truly have a passion to be involved and help our club. They could easily opt out volunteering for a very low extra fee but they continue to help us with various critical tasks, specially coaching in our rec programs and field readiness.
It continues to be one of our top goals to keep our Parents informed of all club news and progress and to keep their kids safe during the activities including making sure all our coaches are background checked, and have completed SafeSport and concussion courses per national regulation.
Our Sponsors put the cherry on the cake and help us stretch our budget and offset some of the many expenses a soccer club has. See our tremendous sponsor line-up here and the banner below! Please support these fine enterprises when possible! If you want to become a sponsor, please click the link just above.
